Company history

In 2006, Alert Solutions started developing the GeoBeads sensor network for continuous levee monitoring. This development work was prompted by the levee breach at Wilnis (Utrecht) three years previously. This breach was also the reason why the Dutch Directorate General for Public Works and Water Management ('Rijkswaterstaat') scoured the market to look for new objective methods of inspecting levees.

Activities

Alert Solutions develops and supplies innovative measurement systems for monitoring infrastructure works. For this, we combine know-how from the chip technology with geotechnological insights. The products from Alert Solutions provide a real-time, continuous and detailed overview of the status and stability of objects.

For example, Alert Solutions focuses on managers of ground and road construction works, hydraulic engineering, oil and gas extraction and mining. The measurement systems from Alert Solutions enable them to manage and maintain the works more efficiently and to also receive early warning of potential disasters.

Via its products, Alert Solutions wishes to make a meaningful contribution to the safety and quality of our living and work environment.
